1. Who we are
vetted.reviews ("we") operates the website vetted.reviews and its subdomains. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Writing reviews
- You must have had a genuine, recent experience with the business you review. That includes using their website, trying to buy, speaking to them, or completing a purchase — you do not need a receipt or order reference.
- You must not have a personal or commercial connection to the business or its competitors, and you must not have been paid or offered anything for your review.
- Reviews must be your own words, must not contain personal data about others (names of staff, phone numbers, emails), and must not be abusive or discriminatory.
- We may hold, verify, publish, reject or remove a review under our verification policy. We will tell you why and you can appeal.
- You keep copyright in your review and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the site, in widgets and via the API.
3. Businesses
- You may only claim a profile for a business you are authorised to represent.
- You may reply to and flag reviews. You may not delete reviews, and we will not remove an honest negative review at your request.
- You must invite all customers, not only those you expect to be positive. Offering incentives for positive reviews is prohibited.
- Paid plans are agreed with us (card billing is not live yet) and can be cancelled at any time; you drop back to the Free plan.
4. Widgets and API
Widgets and API access are provided under the plan you subscribe to. You may not cache, alter or misrepresent scores and reviews, or remove attribution where your plan requires it.
5. Accounts
Keep your credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; your reviews are removed with it.
6. Liability
Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not ours. We provide the site "as is" and, to the extent permitted by law, exclude liability for losses arising from its use.
7. Governing law
The site is available worldwide. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
